3 hp OMNI Smoothie Blender
The Omni Blender is also much quieter than its competitors' 3 hp blenders. If you are contemplating a noisy competitor, you could get a sound enclosure. But with the Omni Blender, a sound enclosure is not necessary. The 3 hp competitor blenders are between 99 to 100 dB (the motor only). The OMNI blender is 85 dB loud. - about 20% quieter. It's still noisy and can wake up a baby.

More ABOUT the OMNI Blender.
Blender Features
- 3 horsepower self-compensating and energy-optimized motor with watt consumption ranging between 450 Watts to 2200 Watts. Learn more about the quiet 3 hp blender motor.
ON/OFF Switch with ON-Indicator light.
- Pulse feature (depress soft-touch key button to activate the pulse). The motor will operate on
high as long as you depress the pulse button. The pulse feature will help blend ice cubes into snow and lets you also knit dough although knitting dough in any blender leaves usually a big and sticky mess. In our opinion, you might as well just use a dough mixer or do it by hand.
- 3 Timer settings (35, 60, and 90 seconds). All 3 timer settings start at LOW, then go to MEDIUM, and then to HIGH in about 3 to 4 seconds after start-up. The 60 second timer setting is programmed with one auto-stop at about half time. And the 90 second timer setting has 3 evenly divided up auto-stops programmed. The auto-stop feature helps to turn over the ingredients. It a brief 2 second stop that brings the top of the ingredients back down towards the blade. When the blender during its blending cycle starts up again, it then begins at LOW, goes to MEDIUM, and then to HIGH.
- 12 Gauge Power Cable with Ground Protection. The power cord is
usually rolled up on the bottom of the blender motor housing. You can conveniently adjust the length of the power cord to your nearest electric outlet. The power cord exists from beneath the motor housing through through a cord clamp that also protects the cord from cuts and wear.
- Rubber Cushion to insulate blender housing from container. You place the container onto the soft rubber cushion. The rubber cushion comes off very easily by pulling on it. The service department can access the drive socket for service that way.
- Drive Socket. The drive socket is molded from plastic. The drive-gear area contains a stainless steel sleeve for strength.
The drive socket is by design to be the weaker link to preserve the motor. If something has to give, it is the cheapest part of the blender. A drive socket is easy to replace.
- 64 oz (2 Liter) container from food-safe Polycarbonate material with a heat/melting point which is over 250 degrees Fahrenheit, approved by the European Commission for Food Safety, the FDA, and Underwriters Laboratory (UL). Accordingly Food-Safe Polycarbonate material is stronger, harder, and has a higher melt point than Copolyester.
- Rubber Lid is made from soft rubber. It is tough enough to sit on the container tight yet it is soft enough to be pulled
off the jar easily.
- Tamper access and Emergency Tamper (right)
- Multi-Purpose Blade: This multi-purpose blade has 6 knives. You can blend anything from dry to wet ingredients. In other words, it is both, a wet and dry blade... a multi-purpose blade.

Jars & Containers
The OMNI Jar is made from Food-Grade Polycarbonate. Bayer Pharmaceutical is the raw-material manufacturer who tests the material for food safety. They boil the material for 2 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit, and thereafter cook it at about 105 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 days. Once the material has been cooked that long, they test it. The residual content is below the critical dangerous levels according to the FDA and according to the European Commission for Food Safety.
In our opinion, although we will have our own BPA-Free jars, this BPA-free issue is overrated and perhaps just a marketing stunt. We are going to sell the OMNI Jar in BPA-FREE Co-polyester because the market appears to request it. But so you know, the Co-Polyester BPA-FREE material is softer and the melting point is lower right at 210 degrees Fahrenheit, than the Polycarbonate material.
The Polycarbonate material is used in air crafts (windows) and the melting point is at 230 degrees Fahrenheit. If anything leeches with the Co-polyester bpa-free jar, hurray... you don't get the Bis-phenol A into your smoothie. But obviously, all other plastic components are going to be in your soup. Maybe it will be better to get the Polycarbonate container... ? I think glass is the best solution, but because of the risk of breakage, it is not an option right now.
Picture to the left is the Square Omni Jar (64oz), marked to 1500 ml or 50 fl oz. The plastic safety tamper tool is to help users avoid using a fork, spoon, or hand for stirring. A tamper is usually not needed for blending, but we include one because of the safety hazard that otherwise a user could be in, if using a fork...

Blades
The OMNI blade is made from a special Stainless Steel Alloy. In order to tell the quality of a blade, you can use a kitchen magnet and hold it to the blade. The blade that you are testing should be magnetized, attracting the magnet. If it does not then the steel is very cheap and of very poor quality. The blade that JTC uses in its OMNI blender is made in Japan. Japan has the highest quality requirements in the world.
The multi-purpose blade has 6 knives, which are so sharp that it would be easy to loose your hand in the blender jar if you stuck your hand into the jar during the blending. So, please don't try this out EVER. This is not a funny game trying to impress someone that you can stop the blade by hand. It will emulsify your fingers into a bloody marry, guaranteed!
The blades can be sharpened at your own risk. Follow the instructions on our Maintenance area under Videos.
And regarding the multi-purpose blending statement, it means that you blend with the OMNI blade all grains, ice, fruit, greens, vegetable, make soup, drinks, desert, blend nuts, etc... This one blade does it all. You do not have to use a different blade for blending ice or grains, etc...

Drive Socket
The Drive Socket is the round plastic piece on top of the blender housing, lined with a stainless steel
sleeve. It drives the Blade Gear of the blade assembly when the blender is turned on. This is a plastic piece because it acts also as a torque buffer to prevent the motor from wearing down or breaking due to potential over-torque against the motor.
This could happen if one were to dead-stop the blade with some kind of a serious obstruction like a stick or a huge piece of ice... The drive socket is easy to switch out and it is relatively very inexpensive compared to the motor or the blade assembly. Like in a car, it is easier and more economic to replace the clutch than the motor. Usually in restaurants, this piece breaks more often because these operators usually don't wait for the drive socket to come to a full stop before the lift off the jar from the blender / or put it back on. It could quickly break out the gear in the socket. Be careful, we know what causes the drive socket to break. It is only covered in warranty if it breaks due to a defect.
Safety Tamper - in the OMNI Blender Jar
The tamper is for emergencies only. Use the tamper as a safety device to prevent you and keep you from inserting into the blender jar a fork, spoon, spatula, knife, your hand... - see video and check out user manual
This plastic dowel specifically designed to fit the OMNI V Blender jar (square) will help you pushing down on ingredients and stirring them should you get stuck. Alternatively, many consumers used to insert other utensils. But that is dangerous and could lead to serious injury.
Please only use the tamper with the rubber lid in place on top of the container while operating your blender. Pop out the little 1 inch lid cap and then insert the safety tamper.
If you accidentally blend up or damage your emergency safety tamper stick, remember, it is not covered under warranty. You will have to purchase a new one for $ 9.00. This safety tamper does not fit any other blender or jars, as far as we know.
Maintenance
Make sure you do not emerge the blender into water! For more maintenance and user tips, consult the user manual that comes with your blender or click here to visit our User Manual Website.
Overload Protection Switch
Normally an overload can occur when a user operates the blender while pushing down onto the blade with the tamper dowel stick. Remember, the tamper provided is for emergencies only. Normally you won't need it. Instead of using a fork to stir your ingredients, use the safety tamper. But when doing so without the lid in place, the user could accidentally obstruct the blade and cause the overload shut off. It could also simply occur through a power-outage overload when the power to your house comes back on. To protect the motor during a power outage, best unplug the motor. Of course, the protection switch is also there to protect the motor and during our sales since 2009, we have never experienced a true motor failure.

Why should some people get a 220/240 volt OMNI V 3 hp blender? - not for the USA!
Some people asked us what the 220 volt OMNI blender is good for. The answer is that this 220 volt blender is for the use in countries that run their appliances on 220 volt electricity. Here in the USA you should get the 110 volt blender if you are planning on using your blender here. Some very few houses are equipped with 220 volt small-appliance outlets. Every house though, in the USA has access to 220 volt if they have a 220 volt electric stove and oven and/or an air condition furnace, and/or a 220 volt dryer laundry appliance. An electrician probably should install a 220 volt outlet in your kitchen to make sure it is safe to use... see image to left and below...If you need a blender for countries like South Africa, Israel, Brazil, Germany, United Kingdom,...all of Europe, Russia, China, Malaysia, Australia and many more, then get the 220 volt Omni blender. Countries like Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Mexico and the USA Territories are all on 110 volt (well, Japan is really on 100 volt, but the 110 volt blender works with 100 volt without any problems). You may find it necessary to get a plug adapter. That is because we only stock the 220 volt blender with the German - type plug.

Look up our warranty information and the shipping information for orders that go outside the USA and for blenders in 220 volt. It is important to understand that the buyer is the importer and not us. This means also that we do not include any taxes, fees, duties, etc... in our price. The buyer is responsible to know of these things and to pay them if there any of these fees or expenses applicable. Please also understand the return policy before buying.
We also provide Accessories which you can select in the Shopping Cart!
THE OMNI V 3 HP SAVING'S PACKAGE (JAR NOT INCLUDED) $225.00
Please note, the 7 years warranty applies to the OMNI blender only and not the container that you already have. And the use of your own jar which is already-in-your-possession is at your own discretion and at your own risk. While the warranty of the OMNI Blender is not voided (because we believe the competitor's jar(s) does not affect the OMNI blender in any negative way, we explicitly disclose to the user that any injury or damage sustained from such mixed use is specifically agreed too, by the buyer, that no claim may be applicable against OMNIBlender.COM, LLC. - We have found that the OMEGA Blender and the Waring Extreme Jar fits the OMNI Blender as well.
