Questions and Answers
Why is the OMNI Blender V cheaper than the Vita Mix 4500 TurboBlend Blender?
- The
OMNIBLEND V 3 hp Blender is really a $ 350 to $ 400 dollar blender. We
do not want to sell it for more. We are a consumer direct distributor
of the OMNI V Blender. We have reduced the price to $ 250.00 plus shipping to get
more buyers quicker and start earning your honest feedback. People want
to know from others what this blender is like. Remember, we are giving
you a full 30 days money back return guarantee if you are not satisfied
with this blender. We are extremely critical with the blenders that we
offer. We test every blender thoroughly. The OMNI Blender is an
Energizer. It is also a saving machine that can blend everything you
need to micronize and to blend it into smoothies, paste, puree, ice
cream, peanut butter, soup, etc.
- The
OMNI V Blender has a 3 horsepower motor. Because the motor is an energy
efficient (latest technology) motor, it saves power. The RMP's are little slower than in the 3 hp Vita Prep 1005 blender or the Blendtec HP3A or Total Blenders. The OMNI V still has a 3 hp torque, enough to micronizing smoothie-ness when compared to
the blending outcome of the Vita Mix Vitaprep 3 hp blender, and out-performing the Vitamix 5200 and Vita Mix
4500 TurboBlend 2 hp blenders. This actually leaves much reserve that
leads to motor longevity (it will last longer).
- The
Blender came with a 1 year parts and labor warranty until March 23, 2010 on the entire
blender. Starting with March 24, 2010, the OMNI V and OMNI X package comes now with a 3/1 years warranty. Remember, the warranty on all electronics or products
available in the industry is there to protect the consumer against
losses due to a manufacturing defect or faulty part. Wear and tear is
always excluded from warranty. Therefore the warranty has always some
limitations. The manufacturers want to make money on you. Products and
blenders with a greater warranty usually cost more than the same
product with less warranty.
- To give you an example: The
commercial Blendtec EZ Blender has a 6 months or 5000 blending cycles
warranty while the same blender, the residential Blendtec HP3A blender
has a 3 years warranty, all for the same price. If you want more
warranty you need to pay more.... that is usually how it works. And if
a product is good, it is not going to break anyway. And if it breaks it
breaks usually right away. And did you know, the factories know that
60% of consumers are not going to use their blenders anyway, so they
are really happy when you pay them extra for additional warranty and
they never have to fix anything. Of course nothing is going to break
when you don't use it. We encourage you that you use your blender every
day. This is a fine tool to help you improve your health!
- BPA stands for Bi-Phenol aka "Bisphenol A" which is to start the Polycarbonate container production with the material resin. BPA has been found in containers, foremost in softer and thinner plastic baby bottles (and that is the real concern). The container material leeches. at hot temperatures. These temperatures in Polycarbonate Containers and safety testing accordingly takes place with 220 degree F. Everything leeches, including your HDPE water bottles (especially), your milk bottles or 1 gallon containers, your glass containers, etc. But it does not necessarily leech all the time. Depending on the material, a product will leech at a lower temperature than in other materials, leeching at a higher temperature. So when your HDPE drinking water bottle is left in the car for a while and you come back to take a sip, you then will taste this funny bitter-weird tasting .... You know what I mean.
- The Polycarbonate containers are
specially hardened and are considered very thick. They hardly ever
leech especially when you make an ice-cold smoothie, ice-cream, or
sauce. Do not microwave your container, not even if you have the
BPA-FREE Co-polyester Eastman Tritan (TM) Container, and although
dishwasher safe, I wouldn't
put my $ 80 container into the dishwasher. Just rinse it out. It will
last much longer. And of course, then there is the Bis-Phenol-Free
Co-Polyester container production, started without this resin
preparation, and therefore BPA-Free. According to Bayer Chemical
Company, there is no way to make a BPA-FREE Polycarbonate container.
They have to be Co-Polyester. And Co-Polyester leeches too, only it
does not have the Bisphenol A in it. We don't know what other dangers
there could be with polycarbonate or co-polyester, bpa-free or not.
Either way, we recommend, do not cook your container!
- The story and the truth behind BPA-Free is unclear. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has never issued a warning and is not concerned, and neither is the FDA. The chemical substance levels are all well below critical limits and are considered safe. Many people who purchase a BPA free container are enough concerned; they say they want to be on the safe side. But we don't even know as consumers who we can trust nowadays. We are hearing way too many contradictions.
- I
go by what Blendtec, Waring, and
Vita Mix does: Blendtec and Vita Mix both have in their residential
blender packages the BPA Free container while in their commercial
blender packages the regular PolyCarb containers. Waring as never been
worried about it. Why is this important to know? Because if there was a
threat to our health, these companies would only produce and sell
BPA-Free containers. I believe it is possible that the latest BPA-FREE
Container materials are the most recent Marketing Stunt for us gull-able
consumers,
the consumers who believe everything they hear or see on Television.
How sad is that, that we just don't know anymore what to believe and
who to believe? To the other hand, if I knew what was really safe, I
would certainly seek that direction...and I leave it by that.
- Stainless steel containers are the next best thing. Because Waring has one available for about $ 150 (64 oz) and because it fits onto the Vita Mix 3 hp and 2 hp blenders, it does also fit onto the OMNI V Blender.
- Bayer
Chemical Company is the manufacturer of the Polycarbonate resin for the
OMNI containers. According to Bayer and their testing procedure, the
container is a food grade and safe product. The material has been
tested by the European Community and the FDA and EPA of USA. Bayer
boiles the sample material at 100 degrees Celcius / 220 degrees
Fahreheit for 10 hours. Ten days later, the same previously boiled
material is then cooked again at 40 degrees Celcius, which is about 102
- 105 degrees Fahrenheit. The liquid or content is then tested for
leeched side products in a laboratory. The results are within the
acceptable standards according the Federal regulations and food safety
standards. I would like to mention that 220 degrees Fahrenheit is not a
normal kitchen or raw / green smoothie or soup consumption
use/application with any of your blender equipments or containers.
- The
OMIN
Blender V is completely Vita Mix and Waring extreme blenders
compatible / interchangeable. You can get the BPA-Free Vita Mix 64oz
Tritan
Container with or without the blade or you can get the Stainless Steel
Waring 64oz 2 liter container. If you get the Tritan Container shell
without
the blade assembly, you can take the blade assembly off from your 64oz
JTC/OMNI blender container and put it into the Vita Mix Tritan
64oz container shell. It fits perfectly! And in the future, JTC
announced, that it will supply also Co-Polyester Eastman Tritan(TM)
material based containers.
Can I buy a bigger container instead of the 50oz one that comes with it, a 2 liter container?
- Actually, the 50oz OMNI container has room for up to 2 liters / 2 quarts / 64oz of liquid or content.
- And yes, you can buy the Vita Mix 2 liter / 64 oz container, or the 64 oz Waring Container (Stainless Steel or the regular Polycarb) and use it with the OMNI Blender.
- The
standard container that comes with the OMNI Blender is a 64oz
Polycarbonate jar with a multi-function blade. The measuring markings
on the container are up to 50 fl oz.
Is a glass container available that fits on this OMNI Blender?
- No,
a glass container is not safe to operate in any of the high performance
blenders. The OMNI is considered a 2 hp high performance blender. A
glass container would shatter into many dangerous pieces flying
explosively through your kitchen due to the extreme force the 38,000
RPM's create in this rather little space. You want a strong enough
container protecting you from exploding into your face. Glass breaks
too easy, even if very heavy and thick. Naturally, weaker blenders come
often with glass containers.
How long has the OMNI Blender been around?
- The
OMNI
Blender has been around for at least 10 years, sold in over 55
countries, mostly in Europe. It has been sold on a more commercial
level because of its heavy duty application and has not been advertised
very heavily here in the USA. 123Vita, LLC has been selling many units
since November 2009 and has not received any complaints about the
durability or workmanship. Of course there are always some warranty
issues or claims with anything. That is why a good warranty is
provided. We stand behind the product!
- We are receiving more and more feedback from customers of how satisfied they are with the OMNI blender. In the past there were not too many customer feedback reports available though. We have a few links where customers started to share their experiences about the OMNI blenders. Remember, if the OMNI blender is crappy, we don't want to sell it. It is for us really a thing of reputation. Of course the OMNI Blender is no Vita Mix 3 hp blender, but with its 3 hp motor it easily outperforms the Vita Mix 2 hp 4500 and 5200 blenders it costs MUCH less. One time I blended a whole Avocado with peel and pit in the Vitaprep 3 and it didn't blend it at all, but the OMNI V shredded the avocado into pieces in seconds. I contribute this success primarily to the pulse feature and the 3 hp motor. With Vitamix and Blendtec you are paying for popularity. Our objective is to offer a reasonable alternative to the expensive high performance blenders.

Where is the OMNI Blender manufactured?
- The
OMNI JTC Blenders are made in China, although the Headquarters (JTC) is in Taiwan. The factory is an ISO 9001
certified facility with the latest state of the art equipment and
engineering. Proof of that alone is the high grade stainless steel used
in the blender components and the 3 hp self-compensating
energy-efficient motor. Compared to the Montel Health Master Blender,
the OMNI Blender is 100% better in quality, workmanship and will
outlast the Montel Health Master blender 5 to 1.
- You
may contact us, 123Vita, LLC. We will take care of your warranty and
service needs, returns, repairs, accessories, upgrades, etc.
- There are hundreds of thousands of recipes available for raw food, paste, hot soup, smoothies, juices, drinks, ice cream, peanut butter, etc. right online, even for example on www.vitamix.com or www.blendtec.com. Just because you may have seen the Montel Health Master Infomercial does not mean you really need to have specific recipes for this blender. This high performance blender, like the rest of them, the Montel Health Master excluded, blend any and all kind of recipes, as you want them too. What ever you put it, it will blend it, of course within its reasonable limits, just in case you are planning on grinding down granite rocks. You can do it however not without damaging the blender. What you see in infomercials is for show. They don't show you all the true facts. Caution there!

Can I make fruit and vegetable juice with the OMNI blender just like with the Montel Health Master Blender?
- Yes, you can make any juice, smoothie, soup, paste, butter, ice cream, etc. with the OMNI Blender, and even better and much faster than with the Montel Health Master Blender. It takes about a good 1/2 minute / 30 seconds to blend hot soup (starting out with hot water from the faucet already). You can then opt in to keep blending for richer nutritional finesse or stop at 30 seconds. The soup should be over 100 degree Fahrenheit anyway because otherwise you might as well just cook it on the stove and kill all the nutrients with the high temperature.
- You can make ice cream in about 20 to 30 seconds with the OMNI V blender by putting fruits on the bottom and ice on top. The use the tamper tool that we provide and push down on the ingredients while blending on high power, using the 35 second timer.
- You can make vegetable paste or sauce with garlic by just putting all desired ingredients into the container and putting the blender on high with the 60 second timer.
- You can make your favorite fresh raw vegetable smoothie in 30 seconds or less.
In what color is the OMNI Blender available?
- The OMNI V Blender is available in Black. It is made in Black and
an Olive Gray, but we only sell the Black color because it is a more
popular color.
Can I return the blender if I do not like it?
- Yes, you have 30 days from the purchase date to try out the blender. You can send it back if you are not happy with it. We encourage you to dig in and use it daily. Only when using it you will get to know all fun and exciting recipes, your favorites. Remember, most people make a 400 to 500 $ kitchen appliance purchase and will not even use it. I just bought a Vita Mix 5000 blender still in the box from someone here in Utah who has never used this blender. For crying out loud, the blender is like 4 years old and has never been used. USE IT! PLEASE! It might be good for you!
