Basically, the 2 hp Vita Mix Vita Prep 2 Blender has a 2 hp motor, with 11.5 amps, and 1300 watts. This commercial blender comes with a 3 year ltd. Commercial Warranty. The 64oz container has a rubber lid (the style without the flaps) and the container is rated for commercial use applications, identified with the NSF sticker it has placed on it (blue sticker). In addition, of course, like all Vita Mix Blenders, this too comes with a free Vita Mix Tamper Accelerator Tool , and a 200+ recipe commercial cookbook. The containers between the Vita Mix 5200, Vita Mix 5000, Vita Mix 4500 Turbo Blender, the Vita Prep 2 and Vita Prep 3 are all interchangeable. And so are the blades and lids. The flap-less lid is often preferred by green smoothie enthusiasts because of the easier handling, lifting off and putting it back in between blending for refilling green vegetables.
