Residential Blenders
At least among the blenders that we review and offer, there is no quality difference between commercial and residential blenders if you consider the workmanship. The only difference we have seen is that residential blenders don't usually need as much power as a commercial blender. This is because of frequent and few home-kitchen applications and uses. Therefore, there are usually more powerful blenders built for the commercial and restaurant industry. A myth is that commercial blenders are always better and last longer. That may be true in some cases, but not because of the workmanship only. There are other factors at play. Rest assured, all factories, Waring, Blendtec, and Vita Mix use the same components for residential blenders as they do in commercial blenders. A residential blender is just as well-built as a commercial blender. We have found that the major difference is the configuration for its purpose and the associated warranties.
