Choose YOUR Best But Not Most Expensive High Performance Blender From Among These Top Brands
When looking at the info below and throughout my website, always consider that more than 60% of consumers who buy small kitchen appliances don't even use them. What makes you so different that you will use your new investment? For your purchase decision also consider that not the blender will make smoothies or soups, but you do. The blender is only the tool to your lifestyle change.
Frankly, who needs a blender at all when we have good teeth and are able to take the time to chew well. We really should take the time to cook and prepare meals from scratch and then chew the liquids and drink the solids. But a high performance blender still can break down the fruits' and vegetables' nutrients much better and free or release phyto-nutrients better than you can by chewing to make them more bio-available to you. If you chew cabbage it will always taste sweet to you. But if you blend cabbage in your new high performance blender, the cabbage smoothie will be rather hot-spicy. This demonstrates the difference in nutrient release when using a blender. This same difference also applies in juicers versus high powered blenders.
If you put a bunch of carrots into your blender and blend them up you will get carrot puree. In order to get carrot juice or carrot smoothie, you need to add water. Obviously I am referring to some confusion arising from the Montel Health Master infomercial. The Montel Health Master Infomercial is a TV Show, professionally scripted and edited to sell a crappy blender. Please be cautious before buying your blender. I always believe in saving up more money and to buy the better blender later than buying some $ 50 'get-by, beginner's luck, 1/2 horsepower, break-down-any-minute-now, blender.
If the information appears too confusing to you, just give me a call and I will help you sort through it. Consider it a free-no-strings-attached blender-decision-consultation. I will be happy to serve you. Phone MST (UTAH) from 9 am to 8 pm Mo-Fr 801-623-3225

Vitamix Vita Prep 1005 - Commercial 3 hp![]() Above is the Vitamix 3 hp motor Above: The Vitamix housing has a vent for cooling on the bottom front, which the OMNI does not have. This forces the air into and through the motor differently than with the Vitamix. |
| It would be nice if this blender came with a BPA-Free Co-Polyester Jar. Because it is commercial it is equipped with a Polycarbonate NSF certified commercial container (food grade). The BPA-Free issue is suspect; It might be a marketing stunt to some degree. Who knows what leeches out from the Co-Polyester, and what else from the Poly-carb jars, or if anything at all since you are never going to heat it up to 220 Fahrenheit anyway, like Bayer Chem Comp does during testing for 10 hours. I also like this 3 hp blender because it is the answer to demanding blending jobs, one after another, emulsifying thick, pasty, purees, and sauces. The Vitamix 5200 or 4500 blenders would quickly default into shut-off mode to gasp for fresh and cold air to prevent the motor from over-heating while the Vita-Prep 3 still goes on. This choice won't make you wonder or look back on your decision, unless you are worried about the money. If this is too much price, you might as well just consider the OMNI 3 hp blender for $ 250 first before looking over to the Vita Mix 4500 TB blender or the Blendtec flimsiness at $ 400. The OMNI V 3 hp blenders are every bit as good in quality as the Vitamix Brands. See below. Confused? Call (801) 623-3225 The Vitamix motor mount system with its air-vent cooling system is air-tight where I am pointing the screw driver. This forces the air through the motor elsewhere. Vitamix has accused us that the OMNI and the Vitamix are substantially similar, infringing on one of their patents. Right here, the public is able to see the substantial differences of the two blender cooling and noise dampening systems of the blender motor housing. |
OMNI V 3 hp BlenderAbove, the OMNI V 3 hp blender Package for $ 275.00 OMNI Blender above with the Vitamix BPA-FRee Co-polyester 64oz Jar, the OMNI blade and the Vitamix Accelerator tool / tamper. Above is the OMNI operating circuit board and the motor right below. Below is the Vitamix 4500 TB Motor and the right one is the OMNI 3 hp Motor. |
| The OMNI V is 100% Vitamix compatible. This means you can opt in for $ 25 bucks more to get it with the Vita-Mix BPA-Free 64oz container (with JTC blade) and plastic tamper. The OMNI blade assembly and bottom plate / retaining nut is also totally compatible with most Vitamix blenders. The OMNI blender comes with 3 sets of timer settings at 35, 60, or 90 seconds. The 60 and 90 second settings are programmed to automatically speed up or slow down during the blending cycles, allowing for best smoothie and food processing, most efficiently. Although it would be nice to get little bid more RPM speed into this 3 hp blender, it is really not necessary. The blending result is the same, if not better with the OMNI blender than with faster blenders, it only takes a little longer. And for that you save a lot of money. View a video; I blended a full avocado with pit -the avocado was raw and very hard - the OMNI V blender with the help of the PULSE feature micronized it up completely in seconds. The Vitamix Prep 3 however did hardly cut the same avocado into pieces (lack of pulse feature) True, the OMNI brand is not as well recognized (YET) in the industry as Blendtec, Vitamix, etc..., but it surely is a big threat to the Vitamix and Blendtec market, surely taking over quickly. I stand behind the OMNI blender, assembled in China but the Corp HQ is in Taiwan. And maybe one day I have it assembled here in the USA and then call it "made in the USA". After all, who knows, many electronic components from Vitamix, Blendtec, and also from Waring blenders are produced perhaps somewhere else than the USA, even in China. I would like to point out the gray top gasket that seals off the motor in the housing so no water or air can get into it from above the drive socket area. The Vitamix blenders do not even have this safety and AIR-BLOCKAGE feature. Sorry, the OMNI blender does not come with a cookbook at this time. A good book to consider is The Blending Book by Ann Wigmore or the The Green Smoothie Revolution by Victoria Boutenko. You can always go on www.vitamix.com to download any of their free recipes. Above Left: Vitamix housing allows air to get in. Right Above: look at the superior cable exit, compare with the inferior Blendtec method that damages the power cord. |
Waring MX1200XT or MX1050XTI no longer
sell the Waring blenders. I started out swapping the Waring Container
for the better Vitamix Jar and blades. I ended up with the Waring
container and was unable to sell them...stuck with them...nobody wants
Waring blenders. And the factory refused to sell me the blenders alone.
I guess, they don't want to be stuck with them either. Vitamix is just
a much better container and blade... Perhaps you might want to buy Vitamix or OMNI instead!
|
| Waring is not necessarily my 3rd choice, but it is up there somewhere...maybe my 4th or 5th choice.... I am not so keen on the hold-up spring-loaded toggle pulse switch on the 1200xt. And the 1050XT is rather poor in its operating system. In comparison, the OMNI Blender has 3 timer settings with a 3 hp motor, it's slower, but it also costs much less. The Waring MX1050XT or MX1200XT are heavy duty very sturdy 3.5 hp blenders. The final smoothie blending results are however not better than with the Vitamix Vita Prep 3 blender. The 3.5 hp motor does not run as fast and aggressive. Because the Vitamix blade and the Vitamix container design is better and more efficient, the better package is any of the xTreme Waring blenders with the Vitamix container (perhaps even the Vitamix container with the JTC/OMNI Blade). The Waring MX1200XT is over 110$ more than the 1050 model and the major reason for that is the difference in the operation system. The difference, the toggle switches and the turning knob for varible speed cannot possibly cost over $ 110 in real life. That is why, I actually believe, the Waring MX1050 at about $ 369 is a better choice. To accommodate you and to give you the better container in the package, we are swapping out the Waring container and sell you the package of the 1050xt with the Vitamix BPA-Free container. I have opened up one Waring blender box at random and have found a defective container (polycarbonate material was chemically not concluded - it smeared) The Waring xTreme blender weighs 16 to 17 pounds and is extremely |
Blendtec HP3A 3 HP BlenderThe screw driver is pointing the power cord exiting the blender motor housing. The blender is brand new and the cord already shows wires wearing through. The red plastic section is supposed to snap in place to secure the black bottom cover. But the it does not fit. Pictures are worth a 1000 words. There is just no way that anyone could claim that the Blendtec HP3A blender is as good as the Vitamix Vitaprep 1005 / 3 hp blender... Sorry Mr. Tom Dickson. |
Confused? Call 801-623-3225 | This red HP3A model was taken out of the box randomly. The cable (picture left) was already warn or cut through the sharp edge. The plastic housing (picture left below) didn't snap in place where it was supposed too. The motor, picture above, is much lighter than the Vitamix or the OMNI blenders. Blendtec uses a much thinner gauge on is copper wiring / spool around the magnets in its motor. Yet, please don't get me wrong, Blendtec is not a bad blender, but it is little flimsy and not so good in workmanship. Where else does the money difference come from? It has to be shaved off from somewhere. I predict that even the 2 hp Vitamix blender 4500 TB holds up better than the Blendtec, over the years to come. The great thing is the Blendtec HP3A is equipped with 25 blending cycle programs to choose from. In theory it is easy and convenient to select a program, put your ingredients into the container and have the blender do it all by itself without a stick or tamper. in reality it is however not that simple. There is a learning curve and quite often things go wrong because your recipe varies in portion size and type of ingredients and the blender just can't tell by itself what you put into the container. The nice thing is that you can always depend on the up/down manual speed control buttons to the right hand side of the blender operating panel. There are pros and cons also with container. The container (BPA-FREE) is 64oz, easy to clean out but it is light and easier scratch-able on the inside because it is thinner. The cost of the container is 50% of the Vitamix container, the blade is not replaceable and when it breaks, you cannot fix it. The Vitamix container of course lasts longer too, very likely! One other advantage the Blendtec HP3A (or Total Blender, or EZ blenders) has, is the option to get it with the 76oz jar, which has a 4 inch blade. The blade at the tip apparently is faster than the 3 inch blade. But the motor is still a 3 hp motor and when the jar is loaded, the resistance to the blade increases because of the blade size. Blendtec told me that the 2.5 quart jar is basically great for making larger portions, but other than that, there are no more benefits. Do you need portions for 3 to 5 people? If so, go for it. Sorry, for the negative comments. I am disappointed with Blendtec and its products all together. I would not pay more than $ 380 incl shipping for the Blendtec HP3A blender with the 64 oz container. And I want to repeat, the Blendtec is not a bad blender. It could be better and would then of course cost more. |
3 Quart / 96 oz Blendtec Jar is only a 76 oz JarTo the right, please watch the video. We have carefully measured the content that fits into the so claimed and falsely advertised 96 oz / 3 quart Blendtec container. True, the container comes with a 4 inch blade, which is very likely an added feature and will improve blending. But now that we know that the container represents just a gimmick advertising and is not nearly as big as it was claimed, perhaps other quality and integrity things should become a consumer concern as well. Please call and/or email with your questions: 801-623-3225 | Maybe somebody should ask "WILL IT FIT"? To the left we have 20 fl oz of green water in a Blendtec 5-sided containe. It is already filled to the top. Only 76 fl oz of green water fit in it. Therefore, Mr Tom Dickson of Blendtec, I ask you not "WILL IT BLEND", but I ask you "WILL IT FIT?". And the answer is: You bet it won't! The 96 oz 3 quart Blendtec Container is a fraud. You can only fit 76 fl oz in it. According to Blendtec the container is now renamed to "Wild Side". However, it would still be good if Blendtec reimbursed the tens of thousands of consumers / customers who were deceived by the size misrepresentation! | This is what a 96oz container looks like with about way too much content in it. And it is not yet 96 fl oz... Latest happening as of 6-2-10... Blendtec is working now on correcting the 2009 created mis-advertising by renaming the container a WILD SIDE / Size, or something like that, and admitting that it is not a 96oz... Size is not important now, according to an email reviewed June 2, 2010. But this container apparently still shows 2 other benefits besides the size-thing that didn't work out: The first is the 4" blade and the 5th side. We will test its effectiveness soon. After all, "size does not matter" says Blendtec now (paraphrased). |
Blendtec 20 AMP QNote, delivery time is between 2 to 3 weeks. Blendtec has special delivery ethics... to say the least! Sorry! | Forget this..., this blender is $ 1000 or little less. For your home household use, it is really an over-kill in most application. I will gladly sell it to you if you really want it and if you put a gun to my head. It is of course a great blender and will emulsify your ingredients really well, but $ 1000? Please reconsider the Vitamix Vita Prep 3 choice... or others. about 3.5 hp motor +, 20 AMP, with 2.4 kW supply. 2 containers (64oz and/or 96oz with 4 Inch blade), and has a really awesome working sound enclosure. | The Blendtec 20 AMP Q-Series ICB7 blender is, or should be out of the purchase league of most consumers. This is a real commercial-application power tool. I had one at home and worked with it. I was not that impressed, other than that it was really nice quite in the sound enclosure. The blender is programmable with the optional add-on $ 150 interface cable. It has already 30 programmed blending cycles. The normal person or restaurant uses mostly between 3 to 5 programs on average. The HP3A |
Vitamix Turboblend 4500 |
| The Vitamix 4500 Turboblend is a great durable blender. It is not so I call the 4500 also the Volkswagen Bug of the blenders. It has been around a lot and it is just a proven blender. The one great thing is that you just can't find any bad reviews. Everybody loves it. It is a shame though, that Vitamix decided not to install the variable speed turning knob. The knob and electronic connections are less than $ 5 bucks. I have been (and I am still) contemplating to install the knob for my customers. It would void the Vitamix warranty but I could then override it. To the other hand, consumers could move up to the Vita Prep 2 hp commercial blender, which comes with the variable speed turning knob at $ 395.00. The Vita Mix Vita Prep 2 operates exactly the same as the Vitamix 5200 Blender! |
Montel Health Master | I have no words for this sad reflection of American InfomercialsClick to REVIEW |
Steps To Choose Your Best Blender Your Money Can Buy
- If you can afford $ 495, purchase the 3 hp Vita Mix Vita Prep 3 / 1005 commercial blender with 3 years warranty, 64oz polycarbonate container, cookbook, tamper and free shipping. You are not going to look back and wish you would have bought the 2 hp blender by Vita Mix. And the Vita Mix comes with a variable speed turning knob and override toggle switch to pulse setting. The Vita Mix 3 hp blender (picture right - first to the left) is a stronger and sturdier blender than the Blendtec HP3A blender. It weighs about 15 pounds and is quite aggressive, and is the answer to all your demanding blending needs. If you are not using the VP 1005 / 3 commercially, you can also opt in to get the BPA-Free Vita Mix 64oz Jar for $ 20 bucks more. And if you want to put your Vitamix VP 3 under your cabinet on your counter-top, choose to get it with the compatible OMNI Container.
- In the same price range fits also the Waring MX1200XT with a 3.5 hp motor-yield 3 hp (commercial 17 pounds sturdy) very similar to the Vita Prep 3 in power, in operation, easy, convenient, and very good blenders... The Waring 3.5 hp motor is funny, not as strong as the Vita Mix 3 hp blender... and the container is not as good a quality as the Vita Mix Jar and Blade. Good thing that these containers are 100% interchangeable. You can get the BPA-Free container 64oz size, lid, and vita mix tamper, though. Actually, we are swapping it out for you.
- If you are thinking Vita mix 5200 now, think again please. By the time you are buying the Vita Mix 5200 from Vita
Mix, be it at CostCo or at Vita Mix Direct, your price ranges from $ 430 upwards to $ 480 or $ 490 including your sales tax. You really might as well just buy the stronger better commercial blender, either the Vita Mix commercial 3 hp blender for $ 495 or the Waring MX1200XT for $ 479.50. - If you cannot afford an over the 450$ price, then you might want to consider in the mid $300's the Waring MX1050XT 3.5 hp blender (yield 3 hp), if the 3 hp blending power is important. The Waring MX1050 has the same power as the Waring MX1200XT but its operating function / buttons are much more simpler and unsophisticated (no problem really, you are just after the power, right?); Or in the same price range you can choose the Blendtec HP3A 3 hp
blender with way lots of electronic and a light-weight base, consisting of 25 blending cycle programs to choose from. Lucky you, 123Vita, LLC provides a free tamper and has also an electronic up/down manual speed control for manual operation (10 Speed). Note, the Blendtec HP3A 3 hp blender is the best deal with a sound enclosure in respect to power and dampened noise. It's not the Vita Mix 3 hp commercial blender though.
- If the 400's is still to much, then you really have only a few more high performance blenders to choose from. These are the Vita Mix 4500 Turbo Blender (aka Vita Mix Turboblend 4500 Blender) -right; with simple on/off switch and low/high speed toggle switch control and its 2 hp motor. It yields the same power as the Vita Mix 5200 blender or the 5000 model, or the Commercial Vita Mix Vita Prep 2 hp blender. The Vita Mix 4500 blender is listed at MAP $ 399.95 but is about $70 overpriced - we adjust. You should call us at phone 801-623-3225 to discuss the best price. At the same time we might be able to help you evaluate the pros and cons of various blenders regarding your needs, must-have's, and what you can afford/ your blending priorities.
And why would you pay $ 399.95 for the Vita Mix 4500 Turbo Blender, it comes without the adjustable speed
turning knob- when the commercial Vita Mix 2 hp Vita Prep 2 blender is the same thing as the Vita Mix 5200 (with minor differences in container and cookbooks) and that costs only $ 395 out the door, shipped to you, without a sales-tax charge (inter-state)?
- And finally, not being the last or the least at all, the OMNIBlend V 3hp blender (left) should be a $ 350 to $ 400 blender in comparison to the Vita Mix 2 hp blenders. The Omni yields in 2 hp blending capacity and is totally Vita Mix container compatible. The price is $ 250 plus Shipping.
- If you cannot afford a blender over $ 250 or even $ 200, instead of buying the Montel Health Master Blender Rust Bucket, just save up your money until you can afford your blender. Anything less than these blenders under $ 300, except the OMNI, is really not worth buying if you want to blend daily green raw smoothies, pastes, ice cream, soup, etc... Any lesser blender, including the Health Master will wear out so fast, you will have to buy a replacement soon after. And you might always want to consider compatibilities as well. The Waring extreme and the OMNI blenders are 100% Vita-Mix compatible. This means, when your container or your blade breaks and you need to replace it, you will increase your chances of getting the parts you need, while of course with the Health Master blender you may have a challenge.
More Strategic Blender Choice Questions to Consider
- Would you look over your shoulder and wish you would have bought the 2 hp blender after buying the 3 hp blender?
- Or would you look over your shoulder and wish "men, I wish we would have bought the 3 hp blender"?
- Another question: If its the money and you cannot afford a Vita Mix Vita Prep 1005 / 3 hp blender, will you feel comfortable with the Blendtec HP3A 3 hp blender operating system (remember we are giving you a free wooden dowel - tamper stick)?
- What is your kitchen space issue? Do you have enough room and where are you going to put it?
- Noise Issues: If you are concerned about the 90+ dB noise level all of these powerful high performance blenders deliver, a sound enclosure might come in handy. Our prices of sound enclosures are as low as $ 85.00. But a sound enclosure also requires a more permanent blender positioning on your counter-top / in your kitchen.
Several Arguments about Pros and Cons of some of our favorite blenders:
If the 25 blending cycle programs control is fine with you, then I would recommend to jump on the Blendtec HP3A 3 hp deal in the Semi-300's. But the HP3A Blendtec blender is no Vita Mix Vita Prep 3 hp blender in quality, sturdiness, and power! If you would rather have something more simple to use, you have a choice to go for the Waring 3.5 hp MX1050XT mid $300's, or the 3 HP Vita Mix commercial blender at $ 495. The Vita Mix 3 hp blender is a favorite choice among many who have difficulties chewing their meal. Its simplicity and great ease to use costs a little lot more than the Blendtec. Believe it or not, lots of people surprise me with their choices, still going for the Vita Mix 3 hp blender at about $ 140 more
dollars over the Blendtec, just because the Vita Mix comes with a tamper. The Vita Mix 3 hp blender of course has really much more to offer than a tamper. A tamper is a $ 10 item. A tamper for the Blendtec blender can be made... a very inexpensive wooden dowel designed to be an emergency tamper tool, which can help you choose between blenders here quickly. Otherwise, as you already know, the Vita Mix 4500 TurboBlend can be had for only a phone-call-away at 801-623-3225.One suggestion please: When people, including myself, would like to make a recommendation of what blender you should buy, always look for their bias. What's in it for them? Why does this person think a certain blender is better? Best form your own opinion. You have to live with the blender for the next years or decade and not the sales person. We sales people are in it for the money, obviously. And my business mission is not to sell blenders, but to build relationships.
People always ask me what my favorite blender is. Yes, I like the OMNI Blender a hole lot, especially for $ 250 (once and if it will ever be available). But it does not and will never replace the Vita Mix 3 hp blender. During a blender testing procedure of these OMNI blenders, my wife said to me: "I want my blender back"...referring to the 3 hp Vita Mix blender. Of course the Vita Mix 3 hp commercial blender is hard to beat. But it costs also nearly $ 500 bucks.
The Waring MX1200XT 3.5 hp blender is very similar to the Vita Mix 3 hp commercial blender in power torque, speed, and blending results (actually yields in 3 hp). It weighs a sturdy 17 pounds and containers are between Vita Mix, Waring, and OMNI 100% interchangeable. The MX1200XT 3.5 hp Waring blender costs little less than the Vita Mix 3 hp commercial. The main difference is that the Waring blender has a pulse override toggle switch which you need to hold down for as long as you wish to activate the override while the Vita Mix 3 hp 1005 commercial blender has a switch that holds either its pulse or variable speed position when activated.... Waring is about $ 30 to $ 40 less.
More about the Blendtec HP3A 3 hp blender: I like the Blendtec HP3A 3 hp blender a whole lot too. Personally I am not so hot on the 25 program choices. That is little too much and too complicated for me. But the blender is great, light-weight, easy to travel with, a real power bee (a little on the noisy side), and extremely affordable for its 3 hp motor power. It is true that it appears little flimsy, but it really is not. It is true that you can choose from 25 blending cycle programs, making ice cream, smoothies, milk shake, hot soup, peanut butter, etc... All program processes together with exact measurements of ingredients and instructions of which button or program to choose, is all in the cookbook that comes with the deal. You just have to take the time to read it or watch the online Video Demo. And if you want a smoothie right away without learning first how to use the blender, you can do so by operating your Blendtec HP3A blender manually with its up/down 10-speed control on the right hand side. And remember, we are including a free wooden tamper stick accelerator to make sure you will never use your hand or your fork, etc... if by emergency you need to push something down into the container towards the blade. Please note, very important, you can now also get the 96 oz container for the HP3A Blendtec Blender.
The ICB7 3.5 hp 20 amp and the Original Smoother blenders are often inquired about as well. These are certainly the best and most affordable power blenders in its class. But the price tag is between $ 775 to $ 1050, depending on which exact configuration you are buying. So, best give us a phone call at 801-623-3225, and let's discuss if this choice is an overkill for you. We don't want to talk you out of it or talk you into anything.
I got a call from a Vet on a fixed disability income. He couldn't afford a blender over $ 200. I told him that he can chew his flax seeds for 10 minutes and have the same results as with a Vita Mix 2 hp blender. He chose to hold off with his purchase until he had enough money for the right blender. Folks, when it comes down to it and you have good teeth, you don't need to spend any money for a blender if you don't have enough money. You can start living healthy with the means you have available. BUT PLEASE, if you don't have enough money for the real good stuff, don't buy the junk. You will burn it up, together with your hard-earned money.
Really, I don't mind if you buy from us or from someone else. Of course I would love your business. But I like it much more if I was able to help you make a good affordable decision and you can sleep well at night knowing you have made a good decision. And last but not least, remember, there is proof in the pudding that over 60% consumers do not even use their high performance blender after the purchase. Its there in the cabinet collecting dust. And people spent $ 500 bucks or so, on it???? It gives me lots of satisfaction knowing that one customer at a time, I have helped someone to save money and buy the best blender his or her money could buy.
Therefore, to choose your blender is your decision. To use it is also your decision! I am just here to get you thinking in the right direction with the hope that you will be satisfied with your choice for a long time. I often take an 1/2 hour or even a full hour to discuss all options with my customers. And talking about it is in my opinion much better than just reading it in here online. That is really what 123Vita, LLC on www.3blenders.com is all about.
Best Wishes
