About Blendtec and 123Vita, LLC
123Vita, LLC compares blenders, including the Blendtec models against others. This includes comparing the Total Blender and the HP3A Blendtec blenders. Since Costco offers the Total Blender about twice a year and then there is the HP3A blender, consumers want to know what the difference between the two is.
We answer to that. 123Vita also has found a few pros and cons about these blenders. The pros are their power and the cons are their unstable or flimsier appearance, among a few other things. What one person finds great, another one may not be so drawn too. So, this means, who is to say what the real pros and cons of anything are?
The lighter weight for one could mean a flimsy appearance while another person thinks it is a benefit for taking the HP3A or Total Blender traveling. One person likes the programed blending cycles and another person things they are representing too much of a learning and user hassle. One feels attracted to the marginally strong blending power while another one feels the containers are made too light, too thin, and so on.
Bottom line, Blendtec wants to defend its appearance, apparently through threat and mafia-alike actions. 123Vita, LLC has been cut off by Blendtec. They send a threatening letter to our vendor with the demand that we are not allowed to buy Blendtec products anymore and they are not to sell to us anymore. Luckily, the world is full of dealers and many offer us equal opportunities to buy and sell the Blendtec product line continuously. Apparently, according to Blendtec, the are in litigation with us...news to me. See the email below.
Some people then wonder why we still bother offering the Blendtec brand. The reason: We are a company of integrity. Our reports and reviews are in the consumer's best interest. We side with you, our customer and not with the factories. Some factories just want you to know the best parts of their product. But we believe consumers should be aware of all pros and cons. And there is really nothing to be ashamed off. All products, services, and events offer pros and cons. That is just how it is. Blendtec still tries to make the best they can. Too bad they feel they have to argue with me. I continue to sell their product because it is good stuff, worthy to be named a high performance blender. And believe me, I have wondered whether I should just discontinue the Blendtec brand from this website, but then I would have to lie and say, "Blendtec is a piece of junk". And then I would not be any better than they are. Blendtec, however, is a good product line, good, even great. Vita Mix has its problems too. They too have great blenders. In my opinion the Vita Mix 4500 and Vita Prep commercial 3 hp blenders are more durably built. And they too offer pros and cons for you, depending on different factors. Check them out, call us, discuss it... we are there for you!
